Q: Will laser skin resurfacing take a long time to heal, and look horrible?

A: Some time back, the answer to this would have been "yes".  But now we have what are called "non-ablative" laser treatments that leave the top layer of skin alone, and therefore reduce healing time and the red and blotchy look.


Q: What kind of brithmark can be addressed with birthmark removal?

A: The most common kind of birthmark that is removed, and a type that lends itself to the cosmetic treatment, is a port wine stain.  These are the pinkish discolorations that often appear in the face.


Q: Can a cream or other over the counter treatment reduce wrinkles?

A: Some high quality creams and oitments can, as they are often advertised, "reduce the look of wrinkles", sometimes significantly.  However, to actually take wrinkles away, you likely will need a cosmtic procedure of some sort.
